GREECE, N.Y. -- J-Mac and Earvin 'Magic' Johnson have a movie to make. Then it'll be time for some one-on-one.

Former NBA star Earvin 'Magic' Johnson was at a suburban Rochester, N.Y., high school Wednesday morning to announce a movie based on the exploits of Jason McElwain -- the autistic teen better known as J-Mac.

In February, the 17-year-old senior at Greece Athena High School hit six three-pointers and finished with 20 points in just four minutes in his only appearance in a varsity basketball game.

His heroics captured the nation's attention, and there was immediate talk of a Hollywood movie about J-Mac.

Johnson made that official. He said he'll co-produce a film on what he called J-Mac's 'amazing story.'

The former Los Angeles Lakers great said J-Mac said he could beat him in a game of one-on-one. Johnson said after the movie is made, they'll return to J-Mac's home court and see if that's true.

As for who gets to play him in the movie, J-Mac said he doesn't care, 'as long as he's good.'"
